Dr. Elizabeth Mutter is a board-certified psychiatrist with licensure in NJ and PA. She maintains board certifications in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She has extensive experience caring for children, adolescents and young adults across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. She has served as Division Chief and Medical Director of an adolescent inpatient unit and has been actively involved in teaching medical students, psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
Dr. Mutter believes in collaborative, evidence-based care and works closely with patients, families, therapists, pediatricians, and other providers to develop individualized treatment plans. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful medication management, education, and long-term therapeutic relationships. Mutter Psychiatry was founded out of a desire to preserve continuity of care and maintain long-standing therapeutic relationships with patients and families who have entrusted Dr. Mutter with their care over the years. She is honored to continue supporting these individuals through the transitions and challenges that accompany childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood.

Payment is due at the time of service. For patients with out-of-network benefits, a detailed superbill can be provided for submission to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan, and patients are encouraged to contact their insurance carrier regarding specific out-of-network benefits.
